Funeral services for former Temple resident, Lois Faye Douglass, 78, of Oklahoma City, were conducted from the Mercer - Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Bethany, OK, Friday, May 19, 2:00 P.M. with a second service set for Sunday, May 21, 2:00 P.M., at First Baptist Church in Temple, OK, Rev. Lawrence Cox officiating. Burial will be in the Temple Cemetery with all services under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Temple.
Lois Faye (Wilson) Douglass was born on September 16, 1921, in Temple,Oklahoma, and departed this life at her home with her family in Ok lahoma City, Oklahoma, on May 17, 2000, at the age of 78.
On March 22, 1941, she was married to Richard Wayne Douglass. He preceded her in death on November 4, 1986, in Oklahoma City.
Lois Faye lived in Temple and was employed by Haggar Slacks for many years, before moving to Oklahoma City in 1972. There she was employed with Hyde Drug for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Temple.
Survivors include: four children, Richard Wayne Douglass, Jr., Dianne Cecille Bivins and Sharon Knudsline all of Oklahoma City, Larry Howard Douglass of Lawton, OK; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
