Good Woman Goes To Her Reward
Mrs. W. L. Chambers, who lived in the Hulen neighborhood died at her home last Wednesday afternoon, at 4 o'clock of typhoid fever.
Mrs. Chambers was concious until the last and Tuesday morning called her loved ones around the bed and told them that she was going to leave them and that she was ready to go and wanted them all to meet her in the land that knows no sorrow, no heart aches and no parting.
She was one of the best of women and had been a consistent member of the Baptist church and an earnest christian for thirty one years.
Mrs. Chambers was born in Lee county, Alabama, forty-nine years ago. The funeral services were conducted from the home last Thursday afternoon by Rev. C. D. Freeman and the remains were laid to rest in the Thomas cemetery north west of town.
Mrs. Chambers leaves a host of friends who will miss her and mourn her departure, yet they realize their loss is her gain.
