Catherine Ann [Fox] Woods

Catherine Ann Woods, Lawton, was born September 16, 1954 in Wichita Falls, TX to Danny Ray and Maxine [Newton] Fox. She went to her heavenly home on July 15, 2015 after a long battle with Huntington's disease.

A visitation will be held Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 17, 2015 at 2:00pm at First Baptist East with Pastor Doug Passmore officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens under direction of Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service.

Cathey grew up in Wichita Falls, TX.

She enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandsons. She married the love of her life Perry Woods on August 24, 1974 and remained married for 40 years.

She worked as a house parent for several children's homes before becoming a substitute teacher for Lawton Public Schools.

Cathey loved singing in the church choir and singing at the Living Christmas Tree performances.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Danny and Maxine Fox and her father-in-law, Joe J. Woods.

Survivors include her husband, Perry Woods, of the home; her daughters, Jennifer Lea Giudici, her husband Doug Giudici and son Dominick, and Jessica Ann Patterson, and her sons Hunter Patterson and Wyatt Patterson; and her brother, Dennis Fox.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Cathey's special friends: Candi Nicholas, Jan Williams, Beverly Passmore, and many others; Aspire Hospice team and nurses Cindy and Danielle; employees to Fort Sill National Bank; and the Adult 3 Sunday School class at First Baptist East.
