© Whinery~Huddleston Funeral Service Lawton, Oklahoma June 24, 2016 Jimmy Dale Thompson Jimmy Dale Thompson, Lawton, was born April 25, 1967 in Lawton, OK to William and Joann Thompson. He passed away June 24, 2016 at the age of 49. A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 4pm-8pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Lawton. Arrangements are under direction of Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service. Jimmy met Sue Lambert and they were together for 29 years. He worked for the City of Lawton Streets Division for 10 years until he retired. He then went to work for Superior All Pro Roofing, where he worked until his death. Jimmy loved working on cars with his son. He loved riding motorcycles, especially his Harley Davidson. Jimmy was a man with a big heart and loved animals and people; he never met anyone he didn't like. He enjoyed cooking out and spending time with his family and friends. You could always, always count on Jimmy if you needed help with anything. He was loyal to his friends and family and would give you the shirt off his back. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and loved all kinds of music. He was a great soccer coach who coached his children's soccer teams when they were younger. He always had a smile on his face and always made you laugh. He will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his mother, Joann Christmas Thompson and a nephew, Brandon Hensley. Survivors include his wife, Sue Lambert, of the home; sons, Aaron William Lambert and wife LeCresha, Nathan Ryan Thompson and wife Tonya Gallery, and Dalton James Thompson; sister, Tina Marie Hensley; brother, Danny Ray Thompson; grandchildren: Aaron William Lambert II, Ian Matthew Lambert, Aidyn Michael Lambert, and Jason Jacobo; nephews, Jason Payne and Joshua Hensley; niece, Jamie Hensley; and numerous extended family members and friends. |
