Samuel DeQuan Ruffin

Samuel Dequan Ruffin, 35, was born July 6, 1978 in Fort Bragg, NC to Samuel and Sylvia [Robbins] Ruffin. He passed away on April 19, 2014 in Lawton.

Samuel attended schools in Heilbronn and New Ulm, Germany before moving to Lawton. He graduated from Lawton High School in 1996 and attended Cameron University for three years.

He worked as a food service manager and as a customer service representative for Assurant. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Predell and Mildred Chamblee, Joseph Morris and Samuel Ruffin; uncle, James Ruffin.

Survivors include his parents, Samuel and Sylvia Ruffin of Lawton; sons, Rae'von Ruffin, Devontae Torres, Ethan Kindrick and Emanuel Tahhahwah; daughter, Kyrianna Mathews; brother, Anthony Ruffin and wife Gladys; sisters, LaTonya Johnson and husband Samuel and Andrea Ruffin; grandmother, Lillian Robbins; 3 nieces, 1 nephew and numerous aunts, uncles, extended family members and friends.

Visitation:
6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service 6210 NW Cache Road Lawton Oklahoma 73505

Service:
11:00 am on Monday, April 28, 2014 at Cameron Baptist Church 2621 SW C Ave Lawton OK
