Barmettler Robles, Cache, was born December 26, 1944 in Obback, Germany to Helmut Siegel and Lina Markert. She died peacefully at home on August 1, 2014 at the age of 69. Gisela was raised in Germany where she attended school and graduated from Stuttgart High School. She moved to the United States and worked for Haggar's for several years before going to work for Goodyear in 1983. In 2006, after 23 years and 4 months of endless shift work, she retired to her home just outside of Cache. In her free time she enjoyed watching her sons play football and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Gisela had a deep passion and love for animals, which was easily known with just one visit to her home. Along with her daughter, she saved and provided a loving home for countless dogs, where each one was given lots of love and attention. Gisela enjoyed spending time with her family and her dogs, whom she loved dearly. Gisela loved life and lived it to the fullest. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Helmut and Lina. Survivors include her husband, José Robles, of the home; sons, Jack Barmettler and wife Shelly, Eric Barmettler and James Barmettler and wife Natalie; daughter, Susan Barmettler; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
