Donna Jo [Kopp] Gaskill

Birth date: December 6, 1927
Death date: March 16, 2013

Donna Jo Gaskill passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013 in Sikeston Missouri after a lengthy illness. Donna was born in Cooperton Valley, Oklahoma to Homer A. and Edith Kopp on December 6, 1927.

After high school graduation, Donna attended school in Chickasha, Oklahoma where she studied business. She married Harold E. Gaskill on January 8, 1950, and they resided in the Cooperton Valley area before moving to Frederick, Oklahoma in 1965.

Donna was employed by the First United Methodist Church and later worked many years as a legal secretary at McBee, Benson and Kent, Attorneys at Law in Frederick, Oklahoma.

Donna's love for the piano led her to serve as pianist and organist for the First Christian Church in both Cooperton and Frederick. Reading was also something Donna enjoyed in her spare time. She was a devoted member of the church and was actively involved in the community.

Donna is survived by four daughters: Lynn Smith and husband Mike of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Lorrie Gayle Pritchard of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Leslie Ann Hardy and her husband Trey of Sikeston, Missouri and Peggy Jo Gaskill of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her sister Jilreth Head and her husband Raymond of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grand children and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, granddaughter Meagan Hardy, both her parents, and a brother, Wesley Kopp.
