© Whinery~Huddleston Funeral Service Lawton, Oklahoma March 12, 2014 Dollie [Brown] Brown Birth date: February 25, 1927 Death date: March 12, 2014 Dollie Brown, 87, Medicine Park, was born February 25, 1927 in Antlers, OK to James and Sara Walton Brown. She went to be with her Lord on March 12, 2014 in Lawton. Dollie was born in Antlers and attended the local schools. She married Roy Brown in 1945. They moved to Medicine Park in the late 1940s. Dollie worked in housekeeping at Comanche County Memorial Hospital until her retirement in the late 1980s. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and writing poetry, and was a member of the International Poet Society. One of her greatest enjoyments was having holiday dinners and family get-togethers at her home. She was the bond that held the family together and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, two brothers and two infant sons. Survivors include her daughters, Connie Price and husband Malvin of Medicine Park and Carolyn Higgenbottham and husband Clint of Yukon; grandchildren: Sherry Gardner and husband Duane of Elgin, Pamela Bagget and husband Brandon of Lawton, Roy Roberts and wife Jennifer of Elgin, Melanie Price of Lawton, Tony Price and wife Traci of Elgin and Mikel Penick and wife Cara of Lawton; and a very special nephew, Tim Stiger and wife Connie, whose many visits, that included playing the guitar and singing, made her last days happier. Dollie also has numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
