Viola Mittie [Liles] Ille

Viola Mittie Ille, 95, of Hugoton, Kan., died Monday evening, July 30, 2007, at the Morton County Hospital in Elkhart, Kan.

The daughter of Willard David and Emma (Hardin) Liles, she was born on June 1, 1912, at Nida, Okla. She graduated from Sterling High School in Sterling, Okla., with the class of 1931.

Viola was united in marriage to Martin A. Ille on Nov. 13, 1934, in Sterling. He preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1985.

Mrs. Ille moved from Duncan, Okla., to Oklahoma City in 1945. She was a retired employee of the State of Oklahoma, Dept. of Motor Vehicles. She was a homemaker and member of the Catholic Church. She moved to Hugoton, Kan., in 1993 and has been a resident of the Morton County Care Center for the past four years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Martin, three sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include one daughter, Frances Littell of Hugoton, Kan.; three grandchildren: Mark Littell of Spearville, Kan., Anita Sutton of Hugoton and David Littell of Lakin, Kan.; and nine great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday, Aug. 3, at 2 p.m. in the Sterling Cemetery in Sterling, Okla., with Father M. Prakash of Our Lady Of Perpetual Help officiating. Services are under the direction of the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
