STERLING-Funeral for mailto:sc@okcemeteries.net"by G. "Herk" Hutchinson, 69, Sterling, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sterling First Baptist Church withthe Rev. Ron Hood, Muskogee, and the Rev. Chester Powell, Sterling, officiating.

Mr. Hutchinson died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, at a Lawton hospital.

Burial will be with military honors at Sterling Cemetery under direction of Hodge Funeral Home, Fletcher.

He was born Aug. 8, 1935, in Marlow, to Eula Hutchinson and Dovie Hogue Hutchinson.

He served in the U.S. Navy for four years and worked for and was a member of the Iron Workers Union Local 48 of Oklahoma City for 36 years. He retired in 1994.

He married Patricia Garner on Sept. 19, 1962, in Walters.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law: mailto:sc@okcemeteries.net"by and Lorie Hutchinson, Mustang; Billy and Maria Hutchison, Marshall, Mo.; two daughters and sons-in-law: Rebecca and Bobby Sweany, Marlow; and Karen and Billy Pamplin, Lawton; six grandchildren: Brittny Hutchinson, Colter Pamplin, Sterling Pamplin, Jordan Hutchinson, Chris Totte and Ryan Totte; three brothers: Ray Hutchinson, Fall Brook, Calif.; Marcienna Hutchinson and his wife, Marlene, Sterling; and Joe Hutchinson, Midwest City; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Emmett; two sisters:Lelia Creel and Oleta Creel; and a grandson, Joshua Hutchinson.
