© Whinery~Huddleston Funeral Service Lawton, Oklahoma Wednesday, October 30, 2013 Tony Russell Huddleston Dates: Birth date: August 9, 1961 Death date: October 27, 2013 Tony Russell Huddleston was born August 9, 1961 to Stonewall "Stoney" and Annette (Alexander) Huddleston. He died on October 27, 2013 in Cache, OK at the age of 52. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 11:00 am at Post Oak Mennonite Brethren Church, with Tina Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Post Oak Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Services. Tony was raised and attended school in Cache, where he graduated in 1979. After graduation, he went to Nashville where he wrote music and played guitar and drums. He was a drummer for David Allen Coe and worked for several other prominent musicians. He came back to Lawton and worked in the family funeral home when his father opened the new location. He enjoyed music and singing and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Annette; a sister; and several aunts and uncles. Survivors include a son, Tony Russell, Jr; a daughter, Courtney Rae; his father, Stoney, of Lawton; his wife, Luzette Tissychy, of Cache; brother, Gery Hataway, sister, Marilyn Hataway, uncle, Jimmy Huddleston and wife Sue of Cache; aunt, Billie Dupler, of Cache, and many extended family members and friends.
