Obituary
———
With deep feeling of grief and sorrow we have to record the death of our good neighbor, Mrs. Clara Richardson, of Blue Beaver district, north of Faxon, who departed this life March 3, 1911, after a few week's sickness of heart trouble, and yet we are not to sorrow as those who have no hope.
She was born in Ohio in 1845 and was 66 years of age at the time of her death. She was married to C. R. Richardson and to this union two sons were born, Robert and John, both highly respected citizens, of Blue Beaver district.
Mrs. Richardson was an estimable lady and loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by the entire community, as she was a favorite with all.
In her last sickness she said she wanted "to go and be with Jesus." She had been for many years a devout member of the M. E. church, and was at the time of her death, a member at Wesley Chapel.
Mrs. Richardson's last illness dates back just six weeks, and although all was done for her that could be, it was to no avail, and death, like a gentle sleep relieved her of her suffering.
She leaves behind to mourn her loss, her husband and two sons, who have the sympathy of the entire community.
The funeral occurred Saturday afternoon from Wesley Chapel, Rev. Deyo officiating, with interrment in Pecan cemetery.
The funeral was very largely attended.
The Leader extends heart felt sympathy to the sorrowing ones.
