Nanette Irmgard Jones Haselton

August 19, 1961 - December 25, 2017

Nanette Irmgard Jones Haselton "Nan and Nanny Poo," age 56, went to be with her Maker on Christmas Day 2017 in the comfort of her Lawton, OK, home. As a daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend, she was determined to see Christmas one more time and to be surrounded by her family and friends....so she did.
She valiantly fought the beast of cancer until she was too tired to fight any longer, and though the cancer conquered her body, it did not rob her of her humor, her compassion or her soul. Her Christmas gift was to be rid of the pain and to fly free as she did not want her family and loved ones hurting as they witnessed the battle. She placed her family above all and during her illness told her brother better her than anyone else.
Born August 1961 in Muenchweiler, Germany to Dayton and Irmgard Jones, Nanette was a quiet fire cracker of a child. Childhood secrets were pledged with "swear to God you won't tell". Married to Robert Jobe, she welcomed the role of mother to Tara and Caleb who gave her immense joy. Her life was spent in SW OK, where she began as a volunteer candy striper, worked at Domino's Pizza for eleven years advancing to management but truly found her calling during her time at Willow Park Nursing Home with her residents and co- worker family. She showed compassion for all who were less fortunate but she held a special place in her heart for animals, especially dogs. To all who knew and loved her, she was a rescuer. But especially to George, Mabel and Bitty Bitty.
She married her huneeee, Kevin, on July 18, 2014. She loved spending quality time with her family and doing all things that made her life enjoyable such as gardening, shopping for special treasures with her sister, fishing at her favorite lake and just spending time visiting. The apple of her eye was her granddaughter, Cailin.
Nanette knew that "On a bad hair day, there's always lipstick" and she cherished her 3 F's- "Family, friends and fur-babies..."
Preceded in death by her father Dayton Jones; step father Billy Keeling and Jim Binkley, Nanette is survived by her husband Kevin Haselton of the home; her children Tara and Caleb Jobe; her mother Irmgard Jones Keeling Binkley; her sisters Marion Hendrick and Monica Reed; her brother Desmond (Loisdawn) Jones; her granddaughter, Cailin Ramirez; her nieces and nephews, Jarrode Adriane Hendrick, Kersten Clifton and Danlia Reed and extended family in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
A special thanks to Comanche County Hospice nurses, Hazel and Jackie, Dr. Mariano and nursing staff of RAHC, longtime friends, Sherry Esquire and coworker, Clarence Biggers.
Her laugh, her smile and her essence will be missed...swear to God.
In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to your local animal shelter.
