Shirley Ann (Joyner) Drew

March 20, 1935 - September 28, 2000

Funeral service for Shirley Ann Drew, age 65, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2000, in the New Life Christian Church. Brother Gary Layman will officiate.
Shirley Ann Drew was born on March 20, 1935, the daughter of Charlie Jenkins Joyner and Ruth Alice Bowen Joyner, in Lawton, Oklahoma. She died on Thursday, September 28, 2000, in Chickasha. Shirley grew up in Lawton. She married Hugh Smith Caldwell in September of 1952 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1960.
Shirley owned the Shirley Ann's Swing Inn in Chickasha from 1967 to 1973. In September of 1972, she married Charles Clay Drew in Wichita Falls, Texas. He preceded her death in 1992. Shirley had owned and managed rental property in Chickasha since 1992.
Shirley was a member of the Ninnekah First Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for several years.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, T.J. and Cindy Caldwell of Norman; daughter and son-in-law, Charlett and Leroy Nieto of Chickasha; daughter and son-in-law, Dell and Rick Williams of Chickasha; son and daughter-in-law Sidney and Martha Caldwell of Chickasha; son, Keith Drew of Chickasha; step-daughter, Terri Joiner of Lawton; six grandchildren; sister, Loraice Girdner of Wetumpka, Alabama; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Pearl Joyner of Cache; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Frances Wilson of California City, California; brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Faye Joyner of Alamogordo, New Mexico.
Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Letitia Cemetery in Letitia, Oklahoma.
Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
