© Whinery~Huddleston Funeral Service Lawton, Oklahoma January 15, 2015 Lester Lee Murphy Lester Lee Murphy, Lawton, was born February 14, 1936 in Robinson, Illinois to Louis and Isabel Murphy Marbry. He went to be with his Lord on January 15, 2015 in Lawton at the age of 78. Mr. Murphy grew up in Robinson, Illinois. After graduating from high school, he attended mortuary school. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1976, where he served until his retirement as a CW3 in 1986. He served in the Vietnam War and was awarded numerous medals throughout his military career. He was a proud member of the Masons for 50 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Isabel. Survivors include his wife Brandy, of the home; children, Frank Murphy and Christa Lindsey; grandchildren: Kelly, Cody, Clayton, and Megan; and 3 great-grandchildren; and brother Darrel Murphy. He was a very kind and loving man and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
