© Whinery~Huddleston Funeral Service Lawton, Oklahoma July 13, 2014 Tomasa [Rivera~Martinez] Diaz Dates: Birth date: June 5, 1932 Death date: July 13, 2014 Tomasa Rivera, Lawton, was born June 5, 1932 in Morovis, Puerto Rico to Aniceto Rivera and Tomasa Martinez. She died at a local care facility on July 13, 2014 at the age of 82. Tomasa was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She met Alfredo Diaz and they were married in New York in 1952. They moved to Lawton in 2000, where they retired. Tomasa was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved spending time with her family and loved them all dearly. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfredo Diaz and sons, Humberto and Fred Diaz. Survivors include her three children, Janet Marquez and husband Domingo, Diana Small and Brunilda Diaz; seven grandchildren: Daniel Marquez and wife Michelle, Diana M. Cain-Rivera and husband SPC Brandon J. Cain, Carlos Diaz and wife Zuinda Vazquez, David Marquez and wife Yoerika Cabeza, Darnell P. Small, Dennis Marquez and Richard F. Small II; seven great-grandchildren, Daimaliz Rivera, Naichaly Rivera, Nathan Negron, Jovanni Marquez, Jaylani Marquez, Ynessa Cain and Isabella D. Tate; sister, Carmen Rivera and husband Manuel of Bayamon, Puerto Rico; brother, Cecilio Rivera and wife Idalia of Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
