Obituary:
Brenda Faye Brown was born on March 17, 1959 at University Hospital in Little Rock, AR. Her proud parents were George Sr. and Bernice [Green] Brown. She died on March 11, 2013 in Lawton, OK a week before her 54th birthday.

Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Friday, March 15, 2013 in the Whinery-Huddleston Chapel with Elders Daniel Clayton and Darrell Dawson, officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. A Wake will be held on Thursday evening starting at 6:00 PM followed by a reception at the funeral home.

Brenda was raised and attended school in Little Rock, graduating from high school in 1977. She remained in Little Rock working at several different jobs while lovingly caring for her father and brother after the death of her mother.

Though small in stature, Brenda was a feisty individual and a strong force to be reckoned with when the welfare of her home was at stake. Her greatest passion was her family, and especially her son Robert.

Brenda never met a stranger, and was always eager to help her friends, or casual acquaintances for that matter, with any problem they might have.

In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, singing, writing poetry, and attending church.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Linda Faye Brown, and one brother, George Brown, Jr.

Survivors include her son Robert Brown of Little Rock, AR; a sister, Deaster Stewart of Lawton; brother, Lee "Foxx" Brown of Little Rock; nephews, Billy D. Young and Michael E. Stewart of Lawton; 3 cousins, Floyd Norfleet, Sharon Brown and Gerald Brown, all of Little Rock; and a host of additional extended family members and friends.Brenda's online guestbook may be signed and condolences sent by visiting: www.whineryhuddleston.com .
