He was born on October 31, 1929. Visitation will be on Monday, November 9, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Whinery-Huddleston Chapel. Burial will follow at Fort Sill Post Cemetery. John was a U.S. Army veteran of 26 years. He was an active member of many organizations including the VFW, DAV, VVA, Lions Club, Moose Lodge, and Elks Lodge. John graduated from Cameron University with a Bachelors degree in Business. He was in the Civil Service for 20 years. John is survived by his son, John H. Love Jr. and wife Laura of Lawton, Oklahoma; daughter, Allison M. Anderson and her husband Jerry of New Brunfels, Texas; son-in-law, Joseph Marschhauser of Spring Branch, Texas; and 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by wife Mary Lou Love; son Robert S. Love; and daughter, Theresa Ann Marschhauser. |
