Louis P. Ceniceros, Jr.

April 03, 1948 - April 20, 2017

Retired United States Army Master Sargent Louis P. Ceniceros Jr., age 69, of Lawton went to his heavenly home on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
On October 5, 1973, Louis, a young soldier from Texas, married Grace Velasquez and whole heartedly committed to loving her and her four children. This marriage drastically improved and changed all of their lives forever. Louis became a devoted husband, father, grandfather (Papa), and great grandfather. His love was unconditional, sacrificial, and had no limits. His life was dedicated to his wife and his family. He joined the United States Army where he was a Vietnam War Veteran. He served in several overseas tours including Vietnam, Europe and Asia. While in the Army he received a Silver Star, four Bronze Stars and two Purple Hearts along with numerous other awards, medals and citations. He was a story teller, a prankster, and a fun Papa. He was a lover of his Lord Jesus Christ, good food, John Wayne and war movies. He was a horrible fisherman, but to him fishing trips were more about eating a big early breakfast with family. Louis was a member of the Bible Baptist Church and a member of the Masonic Pilot Lodge No. 367. He had special nicknames for many of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will always be loved and dearly missed by all of his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his father, Louis P. Ceniceros Sr.; his mother, Lou Ella Miller; his step-mother, Jeannie Ceniceros; his brother, Tom Ceniceros; and his son Andres Morales, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Grace Ceniceros; their three children, Gabriela Dismuke and husband Randy; Marguerite Wood and husband Jerry Don; and John R. Morales and wife Cathy; fourteen grandchildren, Andrez Cristobal Morales, Ann Margarita Morales, Louis Ernesto Morales, Crystal Kinder, John Padilla, Shelbey Dismuke, Kerry Don Wood, Kyle Callahan, Holley Wood-Fulton, Jerry Lee Wood, Amanda Mickey, Matthew Morales, Amy Morales and David Morales; twenty-one great grandchildren; two sisters, Martha Ann Grossman, and Margaret Ceniceros; five nephews and one niece, along with numerous other relatives and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Bible Baptist Church, Lawton, OK.
