Lawton, Oklahoma May 7, 2015 Harold "Pete" E. Pendergraft Birth date: July 27, 1939 Death date: May 7, 2015 Harold was born July 27th, 1939 in Jay, OK to Loren and Lyndall [Dickson] Pendergraft. Harold's military career took him all over the world and he loved it. During his time in the service he earned a Bronze Star with one Oak Leaf Cluster. While stationed in Paris, France with the Air Force, Harold met his to be bride, Gertrud Koch. On March 4th, 1963 in Tulsa he married Gertrud and together they spent fifty-two wonderful and loving years together. Harold retired from the service, but not from life. He went on to study computer science at Cameron University. Upon receiving his Bachelor's Degree, Harold worked for a company in southwest Oklahoma and eventually started his own business as a computer programmer. Along the way he enjoyed fishing, most any fish, hunting, and taking pictures of nature. Pete, as he preferred to be called, was known mostly for always being ready to help others. Survivors include his wife of the home, Gertrud and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loren and Lyndall Pendergraft; one brother; and one sister.
