Frankie Lee Hite

ENID, Okla. - Memorial service for Frankie Lee Hite, 87, formerly of Hennessey, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2014, at Anderson - Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Kelly Cronkhite officiating.

Burial of cremated remains will be in Fort Sill National Cemetery.

Frankie was born to Eugene Arthur and Minnie H. [Holloway] Hite on April 21, 1926, in Enid, Okla., and passed away Monday, March 31, 2014, in Enid.

Frankie served in the U.S. Navy during World War II from 1943 to 1946.

He then lived in Illinois, where he worked for Buick Motor Co. and Fox Valley as a cement finisher. After retirement, he moved to Hennessey. Frankie was a member of the VFW.

He is survived by three sons, Charles Hite and John Hite, both of Illinois, and James "Jim" Hite of California; brother, Michael Hite; and sisters, Helen Gillis, Betty Bock, June Harmon and JoAnn Lamoreaux.

Frankie was preceded in death by his parents and Margaret Hite.

Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors.
