Lawton Oklahoma April 29, 2015 Walter Cudjo Birth date: January 14, 1940 Death date: April 29, 2015 God called one of his angels home on Wednesday morning April 29, 2015. The heavens opened on January 14, 1940 and Walter Cudjo was born to Morris and Bessie Cudjo in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was the eighth child of fifteen children. He attended school at Dunbar High School 1-9 grade, transferred to Shawnee High in 1957 and graduated in 1959, entering the Army in June of 1959. He united with Julia Ann Booker on April 21, 1962, who preceded him in his death and daughter, Renita Ann Cudjo Cadet. Surviving from this union is daughter, LaVeta Cudjo Dixon, son, Anthony Cudjo, daughter Eshell Cudjo, ten grandchildren and four great grand children. He is survived by two brothers, Julius Cudjoe and Louis Cudjo and four sisters, Peggy Roby, Pauline Chinn, Hazel Cudjo, and Lois Cudjo. He leaves to cherish his memory a host of nieces nephews, other relatives and his many friends.
