Francisco San Nicholas Camacho

Francisco S. Camacho was born June 2, 1947 in Susupe, Saipan to Juan and Maria Camacho. He died October 22, 2008 in Lawton.

Frank enlisted in the US Army in 1976 and left active duty to join the Army Reserves in 1984, finally retiring in 2007 after 31 years of service. Mr. Camacho worked in civil service at Ft. Sill and was self- employed in a landscaping business with his four sons. While serving his country as a soldier and civilian, he earned numerous awards in the military and civil service.

He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and a lifetime member of VFW Post 29 in Lawton.

He was an avid fisherman and loved to work in his flowerbeds and garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Margarita, of the home; four sons and three daughters-in-laws, Frank and Rowena of Tamuning, Guam, Danny and Jessica of Lawton, OK, Steven and Amanda of Ft. Riley, KS and Derrick of Oklahoma City, OK; one adopted son, John Hogan and his wife of Alaska; two brothers; three sisters; seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Service:
Funeral Service: 11:00am on October 30, 2008 at Holy Family Catholic Church

Wake:
7:00PM on October 29, 2008 at Whinery-Huddleston Chapel

Burial will be at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin
