John Paul Bukovich

Birth date: March 7, 1960
Death date: March 19, 2015

John Paul Bukovich, Lawton, was born March 7, 1960 in Lawton to John and Eva [Jameson] Bukovich. He died at his home on March 19, 2015 at the age of 55.

John proudly served his country as a Marine. He was honored to be a part of the Armed Services.

John loved tinkering with automobiles. He worked as a mechanic at Mike's ABC Transmissions, Crow's, and D&M Motors, primarily working on transmissions.

He had a wonderful sense of humor and a zest for life. He will be remembered for always having a story to tell, being a jokester, and playing pranks. He never met a stranger and had a warm heart and open arms for anyone in need.

He loved watching movies: Jason Bourne, The Three Stooges, bonus features and could quote them word for word.

He had a very strong love for animals, especially his dog named Hound, whom he had for 17 years.

Survivors include his sister, Sandra Clark and husband Kelvin of Lawton; his half-brother, Bill Pettigrew and wife Cindy of St. George, UT; 2 nieces, Temre Iverson of St. George, UT and Courtney Clark of Lawton; 2 nephews, Chad Pettigrew of St. George, UT and Austin Clark of Lawton; 2 aunts and 1 uncle; special friends: David Bean, Peggy Ingram, Brenda Rivera, Gary Forrest, Jerry Gatlin, Shawn Barnhart, A'lisa Durant, and Melvin Clark. He also has numerous cousins, extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Eva.
