Roy Haldean Browning

Death date: April 23, 2012

Roy Haldean Browning, 70, of Minco, died April 23, 2012, at the Noble Health Care Center. The son of Florence Arlene[(Bassford] and Wilbur Browning, he was born October 4, 1941 in Toledo, Ohio.

Roy graduated from Minco and was employed as a construction worker.

He served our country in the U.S. Navy and moved back to Oklahoma from Tucson, Arizona to be close to his children.

Roy enjoyed watching westerns and country music. Roy is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Chuck and Donald Browning; and two grandchildren.

Roy is survived by his son, Michael James Browning and Jennifer of McLoud; daughters, Gwendolyn Browning and Charles of Lexington, Rita Mack and Woody of Oklahoma City, and Diana Jackman and Anthony of Lexington; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Tinker W. Browning of Oklahoma City, Robert Browning of Minco, and Dale Browning and Sandy of Dewey, Arizona; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside service with military honors will be held 1:00 P.M., Thursday, April 26, 2012 at the Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard.
