Joe B. Tyrone

February 5, 1948 ~ October 31, 2020

Joe B. Tyrone, age 72, of Corn and formerly of Lawton passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 at his residence.
Joe was born on February 5, 1948 to Stanley and Meda Butler Tyrone. He graduated from Lawton High School in 1966 and joined the United States Army after graduation. While in the Army, Joe was a Vietnam Veteran and received several awards, medals and commendations. In 2008, he retired from FedEx. In his free time, he loved watching Nascar and college football.
Preceded in death by his parents, SGM Stanley and Meda Butler Tyrone and one brother, Stanley F. Tyrone, Joe is survived by one daughter, Joby Johnson and husband Ronnie of Lawton and one son, Dr. T. Tate Bay and wife Sheila of Sterling.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
