John TeSelle

January 29, 1922 - November 21, 2010

Judge John TeSelle, 88, of Norman, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010. During WWII he volunteered for the Army as a pilot and Mechanical Engineer. After WWII he continued his military career while completing his Law Degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master's of Law from George Washington University after which he joined the JAG Corp as a patent attorney. After retiring from the Army he joined the faculty at the University of Tulsa Law School then he moved on to teach at the University of Oklahoma Law School. After retiring from teaching he started his third career as Federal Bankruptcy Judge in the tenth Circuit Court. He retired from the bench in 2002. He is survived by his three children and grandchildren. Contributions can be made in his name to the Second Chance Animal Rescue.
