Funeral Service for Paul John Stoner will be 10:00 am, Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Deacon Jim Coe, officiating. Burial, with Military Honors, will be 1:00 pm at Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma under the direction of Whinery Huddleston Funeral Service.
Paul J. Stoner was born September 1, 1954 in Dallas, Pennsylvania to Leonard and Doris Hazeltine Stoner. He joined the United States Army in 1974 and received an honorable discharge in 1978. He joined the Lawton Police Department in 1978. Retiring from the department after 28 years of service. He is a beloved Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Paul loved motorcycles, fishing, computers, bragging on his grandchildren and was a Jack Daniels Whiskey Aficionado.
Paul J. Stoner passed away August 15, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Paul is survived by his wife, Teresa Stoner; his daughter Tonya and Malcolm Sublett; his sons, Todd and Shiloh Stoner all of Lawton, Ok, Paul John Stoner Jr. of Anaheim, Ca., Ryan and Kaysie Schippert of Ft. Worth, Tx., Eric and Lara Schippert of Colorado Springs and Jayme Schippert of Denver, Co.; his father, Leonard Stoner and his mother, Doris Stoner both of Elgin, OK; his brothers, Donald Stoner of South Dokota, Mike and Lorene Stoner of Marlow and Danny Stoner of Abilene, Tx.; his sisters, Linda and Ron Birch of Fletcher and Cynthia and Richard Curtis of Rowlett, Tx.; his grandchildren, Kayla Stoner, Camille Sublett, Corinne Sublett, Camden Sbulett, AAWyatt Stoner, Jesse Stoner, Jordynn Schippert, Katy Schippert and Aiden Schippert; and his great grandchildren, Karson Stoner, Kameron Chandler and Korbyn Stoner.?? He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary and Paul Stoner; his grandmother and grandfather in-law, Arlene and John Hazeltine and several aunts and uncles.
Visitation for family and friends to attend at the funeral home will be Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 pm, Rosary service beginning at 7:00 pm, with Deacon Jim Coe officiating.
