William G. "Bill" Putnam

June 13, 1963 - March 21, 2018

MSG William G. "Bill" Putnam, USA, Retired, age 54, of Cache went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 21, 2018.
Bill was born on June 13, 1963 in Circle, Montana to Walter C. and Alice M. (Harrison) Putnam. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, uncle and son-in-law. He had a passion to serve others, joining the United States Army in 1982 and retiring as a Master Sergeant in 2007. Bill was awarded numerous awards medals and commendations while in the Army including two Bronze Stars, six Army Commendation Medals and three Meritorious Service Medals, just to name a few. He served in Iraq, Afghanistan and in numerous other overseas assignments. He was currently employed at Goodyear. In his free time, Bill enjoyed guns and working on cars, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his mother, Alice (Harrison) Putnam; his mother-in-law, Elfriede Covert; his sister-in-law, Debbie Roark; his brother-in-law, Klaus Gewitsch and his grandparents, Bill is survived by his loving wife, Diana (Cleland) Putnam of Cache; his father, Walter Putnam of Cache; one daughter, Brandalyn Vorpagel and husband Dalton of Lawton; three sons, Cody R. Putnam of Cache, Tristan Putnam and girlfriend Kathryn Porch of Cache and Dylan L. Putnam of Cache and girlfriend Brooke Ross of Cache; two grandchildren, Cheyenne Putnam Elam of Lawton and Hunter Mae Vorpagel of Lawton; his sister, Wanda and husband Lenny Boyer of San Francisco, California; his father-in-law, Jerry R. Cleland and wife Sheryl of Blanco, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Kimberly Teal of Oklahoma City and Krystal Teal of Oklahoma City; nieces, Amanda, Alexandra, Randawn, Trissa, Nikkia and Kianna; nephews, Matthew, Christopher and John along with other close relatives.
