Daphene Denise McNeil

January 13, 1967 - January 17, 2019

Daphene Denise McNeil, age 52, of Lawton passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at her home.
Daphene was born Daphene Denise Bridges on January 13, 1967 in Shreveport Louisiana to Minnie Hardyway Bridges (Pearson) and Bradley Bridges and raised in Grambling, Louisiana. Daphene would often move back and forth between her beloved Grambling and Wichita Kansas, where she graduated from Wichita North High School in 1986. In 2009, she would move to Lawton with her husband of twenty-six years, Sgt. Elvritt McNeil of the U.S. Army. Known as Ms. Deeva to her closest loved ones, a diva she truly was. She was very passionate about her family, traveling and anything to do with arrangements / decorations.
Daphenes surviving relatives are, her husband of twenty-six years, Sgt. Elvritt McNeil; her two sons, Aaron Bridges (35) and Zhakai Fletcher (17); her mother, Minnie Pearson; sisters Charray Pearson and Shawntell Sims and her brothers, Eric Pearson, Kenyada Conway of Wichita and Edward Bridges of Wichita. Daphene is preceded by her father Bradley Bridges and her step father Charlie Ray Pearson.
