Ricky "Mac" McChristian

October 25, 1950 ~ February 23, 2021

Ricky L. "Mac" McChristian, age 70, of Lawton completed life's journey on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 surrounded by his family.
He was born in Paris, Texas to Erma Manzay. He was raised in Lubbock and was a proud graduate of Dunbar-Struggs High School. Ricky married the love of his life, Betty Lowry, on June 18, 1971. He spent twenty-three years in the United States Army before retiring in 1992 and starting his second career with the Texas Department of Corrections and retired from there after seventeen years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed all kinds of sports but most of all, he loved spending time with family and friends.
Preceded in death by his mom, Erma Manzay; one sister, LaMarra Luster; one brother, James Henry.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Betty McChristian of Lawton; two daughters, Stacy McChristian and Charles of Lawton and Tiffany McChristian of Lawton; one son, Darrell McChristian and Lisa of Mesquite, Texas; four grandkids, DeAndre McChristian, DeAnthony McChristian, Derrick McChristian and Devin McChristian; one sister, Mary Manzay of Dallas and one brother, Steven Finch of Lubbock along with numerous other relatives and close friends.
Interment will follow at Fort Sill National Cemetery.
