Gladys Lewin

September 09, 1928 - March 12, 2010

Gladys Halsey Lewin , age 81 of OKC, died March 12, 2010. She was born September 9, 1928 in Roanoke, AL to Cecil and Connie (Henry) Halsey. She married Clifford H. Lewin on August 2, 1954 at Columbus, Ga. They raised five children while Clifford was in the military. Gladys was a retired Cosmetologist from Eckerd Drugs. She loved the military life and being a soldiers wife. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents and a son, William K. Lewin. She is survived by her husband, Clifford H. Lewin of the home; daughter, Glenda Ann Hufnagel of Norman, OK; daughter, Brenda Jeanette Pruitt of Duncan, OK; son, Dennis Lewin of Plainfield IL; and son Edward Duane Lewin of Sandwhich, IL; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; 4 sisters and a brother and other family and friends. Services to celebrate her life will be 11:00 am, Monday, March 15th at Buchanan Funeral Service Chapel with interment 11:00 am Tuesday, March 16th at Ft. Sill National Cemetery.
