Dennis Hill

October 30, 1955 - January 13, 2020

Dennis Hill age 65, of Purcell passed away Monday, January 13, 2020, at Norman Regional Hospital. He was born October 30, 1955 in El Paso, Texas. Dennis was the 2nd child of five born to William Henry Hill Sr. and Syliva Inez (Penrod) Hill.
Dennis grew up and attended school in Mesa, Arizona.
At the age of 21, he enlisted into the U. S. Air Force and proudly served his country for 10 years. During his years in the service Dennis was stationed in Germany, Greenland, Ireland, Thailand, New Mexico and Oklahoma.
Dennis was married several times and became the proud father of two daughters, Chauncy and Tamera. After moving to Norman, Oklahoma in the mid 1980's Dennis was stationed at Tinker AFB and worked several years as an electronic specialist on AWACS Aircraft. Over the past 30 years he has also lived in Davis, Wayne, Lexington and Purcell.
After becoming a disabled Veteran, Dennis enjoyed tinkered around as a mechanic on his own vehicles. Throughout his life, he was an avid sports fan and later became a fan of O.U. Football. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR, Golf and News 24-7.
He will be remembered as a wonderful father, grandpa, brother and friend.
He was preceded in death by:
Parents, William and Syliva Hill.
Spouses, Roxie Miller-Hill and Brenda Hill.
One sister, Elizabeth Kane.
One brother, Robert D. Hill.
He is survived by:
Two daughters, Chauncy Hill and husband Colter Readnour Wynnewood & Tamera Phillips and husband Jonathon of Purcell.
Two sisters, Deborah Hill of Norman, Teresa Wood and husband Jerry of Peoria, AZ.
One sister-in-law, Rebecca Chaney of OKC.
Two grandchildren, Ethen and C.J. Readnour of Wynnewood.
Also several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Memorial services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, Jan. 17, 2020 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. A private inurnment will be at Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK.
