Johnnie L. Fedrick

December 29, 1932 - September 28, 2017

SFC Johnnie L. Fedrick was born December 29, 1932 to parents Lilly and Alonzo Fedrick in Eastman, Georgia. Johnnie was a career military man and retired in Lawton in July 1973. He retired from a second job at Goodyear Tire Company and enjoyed his retirement in Lawton for many years. He was a long-time member of Northwest Baptist Church.
Johnnie served in Korea and Vietnam. He was part of an advisory team deployed to Vietnam in 1964 as well as serving in Vietnam from 1968-1969. He was the recipient of two Bronze Stars as well as numerous other awards.
Johnnie was a generous person and maintained his distinctive sense of humor to the very end. He is survived by son Johnnie, Jr., of Tulsa, OK, and son Kelvin Fedrick, of Broomfield, CO. He is also survived by special friend Alice Pickens and numerous nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Katereal, a son, Barry, and a nephew, Matthew.
