Clifford W. Douglas

July 24, 1954 - March 21, 2019

Clifford Wayne Douglas was born in Burneyville, Oklahoma to the parents of Alvin Donald Douglas and Lillie Mae Willis. He attended Lawton High School and played football and track. After graduation he joined the US Army. During that time, he married Linda Smith and to this union two children were born. After the military he went to work for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Factory. He worked there for 15 1/2 years. During that time, he played softball for the "Hollywood Players." Clifford W. Douglas attended classes of The Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research in 1989. He received his membership and ministers license in 1990. He attended classes for the past 31 years and held office as Superintendent and Public Relations Director.
On Thursday, March 21, 2019 the Lord called home Clifford to his eternal rest. He was 64 years old.
He is preceded in death by his parents A.D. and Lillie Douglas. He leaves to cherish his memory; two daughters, Lashawn Bailey (Rashon Mitchell) and Latrice Bailey, both of Lawton; four sisters, Marilyn Siders (Robert) of Augusta, GA, Annette K. Collins (Brad) of Sacremento, CA, Deborah Lynn Stewart and Eugenia Carol Tims (Davie), both of Lawton, OK; four brothers, Clentis Edward Douglas, Rodney Kim Douglas, Alvin Donald Douglas, all of Lawton and John Dennis Douglas (Tamara) of Midwest City, OK; his best friends Cleophus Williams and David Butler of Lawton; eight grandchildren; one great grand child and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
