Peggy Lou (McNeil) Dennis

October 16, 1926 ~ June 18, 2020

Peggy Lou (McNeil) Dennis, formerly of Apache, was born October 16, 1926, in Panhandle, Texas, to Cecil and Celestia (Slagle) McNeil. She passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020, with her daughter, Cathy Dennis Schultz, and granddaughter, April Davis, by her side in Owasso, Oklahoma. She was 93 years old.
There are no services planned at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Crews Funeral Home.
Peggy attended college at West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas. She married Harold Dennis on January 16, 1944, in Tucson, Arizona. Harold preceded her in death on January 28, 2014, after 70 years of marriage. She was a resident of Apache for 45 years.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Arlen McNeil and Marvin McNeil.
Peggy is lovingly and fondly remembered by her family as a very caring and loving wife, mother, and grandma. Her hobbies included playing hymns on the piano and singing, playing cutthroat Wahoo, cards, traveling and bowling. She was very active in the church she attended and will always be remembered as a woman who loved the Lord. A woman of true integrity.
Peggy is survived by a daughter, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
