Theresia Maria Dabney

April 14, 1937 ~ April 16, 2018

Theresia Maria Dabney, age 81, of Lawton passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton.
Theresia was born on April 14, 1937 in Memmingen, Germany to Josef and Monika Färber. She married the love of her life, Eddie Dabney Sr. in Tacoma, Washington on January 18, 1965. They later were stationed in Hanau, Germany before retiring in Lawton, Oklahoma. Theresia was a volunteer for the Fort Sill Thrift Shop. She loved traveling in their RV, camping at Fort Cobb, taking cruises, and going to Florida. In her free time, she enjoyed hosting garage sales with her husband, watching baseball and playing Skip-Bo, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, baking, and passing down her German heritage.
Preceded in death by her parents, Josef and Monika Färber and her brothers, Josef, Ludwig, Richard, Manfred and Karl, Theresia is survived by her husband, Eddie Dabney Sr. of Lawton; her children, Col. (Retired) U.S. Army Harold James Dabney, and wife Renate of Lantana Texas, Jay Jay Dabney of Flowermound Texas, Joe Dabney and wife LaRue of Cache, Eddie Dabney Jr. and wife Susan of Cache, Freddy Dabney and wife Inger of Venice Florida and Carolyn S. Böhme of Wiesbaden Germany; her grandchildren, Katrina Brown, Andrea Pierce, Myshel Malpin, Keri Dabney, Joseph Dabney, Chris Cox, Jerome Gisinger, Skyler Dabney, Dane Dabney, Tanner Dabney and Teresa Böhme; her great grandchildren, Damien, Tristin, Trinity, Craig, Cayden, Jaylyn, Alanna, Carter, Hudson, Opal, Lyla and Thea; her special family, Deborah and Carl Thomas, Roger Cole, Sylvia Schmurr and family, Jochen Farber and Mary Stone along with numerous other relatives and close friends.
