Ann Banks

May 23, 1931 - March 30, 2023

Ann Banks, 91, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Sister, was called to her eternal resting place on March 30, 2023. She entered this world on May 23, 1931, in Dothan, AL, born to Phelix L. and Lora A. Benefield Jenkins.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Grace Memorial Chapel with Pastor Joseph Highley officiating. Interment will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 5, 2023, in the Fort Sill National Cemetery under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City, OK. Visitation will be held Monday, April 3, 2023 at Grace Memorial Chapel from 4 pm to 7 pm. Family has asked in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
Ann grew up near Panama City, FL where she met the love of her life, Joe Banks. They were married December 10, 1952 in Panama City and together they raised two daughters. Joe and Ann celebrated their 70th anniversary on December 10, 2022. Ann enjoyed traveling with Joe and spending time with her family. She never met a stranger, and thus, Ann and Joe have friends across the Country from all their travels. Ann was a gourmet cook, avid reader and bridge player. She and Joe lived in the love and faith of Jesus Christ their entire marriage.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Joe of 70 years, and two daughters, Hollie Winslow and husband Dale of Ponca City, OK, and Leslie Hradek and husband, Brent of Bedford, TX; three grandchildren: Jamie Ramsey and husband Mike of Coyle, OK; Chad Winslow and wife Paige of Ponca City, OK and Matthew Hradek of Dallas, TX. Ann is also survived by six great-grandchildren, and nephews Tommy, Steve and Todd Jenkins, all of Texas. In addition to her family, Ann will be missed by so many life-long friends.
Ann will be reunited in heaven with her parents, stepfather, Lee Thomas, and two brothers: Floyd Jenkins and wife Bobbie, and Phil Jenkins.
