Charles Hugh Wolf

Graveside service for Charles Hugh Wolf, 86, of Comanche County, Oklahoma, will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 21, 2013, at the Flower Mound Cemetery.

Mr. Wolf passed away on Sunday, November 17th, 2013, at home.

Burial will be under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

He was born on January 11th, 1927, in Apache, Oklahoma to Hugh Edgar and Cora Viola [Gober] Wolf.

He grew up south of Apache, Oklahoma and graduated from Central High.

He worked as a farmer for several years before working as a clerk at the Humpty Dumpty Grocery Store.

He married Helen Gwendolyn [Hoskins] on July 24, 1948, at the Rectory of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. They were married for over 60 years until Mrs. Wolf preceded him in death on June 10, 2009.

Mr. Wolf worked at Montgomery Wards as a service and repairman for over 25 years until his retirement.

His hobbies included: collecting belt buckles, key chains and watches. He also enjoyed repairing watches and other electronics as well as working on model cars and tractors. Mr. Wolf was a Baptist.

He is survived by three sons, Robert Charles Wolf, of Lawton, Oklahoma, James William Wolf, and his wife, Marla of Tuttle, Oklahoma, and Joseph Lee Wolf, of Lawton, Oklahoma; her daughter and son in law, Theresa J. and Don Hrncir, of Durant, Oklahoma; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Georgia and Damon Doye, of Lawton, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Philip Hrncir, Maureen Wolf, Hanna Wolf, and S. Katie Fields-Pack and her husband, Ryan; and two great grandchildren, Jacob Fields and Anya Fields.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, June Vernerrilli, and his wife.

Helen Gwendolyn [Hoskins] Wolf

Funeral Mass for Helen Gwendolyn Hoskins Wolf, 77, Lawton, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with the Rev. James D.M. Stafford, retired pastor, officiating.

She died Wednesday, June 10, 2009, in Lawton.

Burial will be at Flower Mound Cemetery under direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

She was born Dec. 27, 1931, in Comanche County, to Henry "Bus" Hoskins Jr. and Helen Elizabeth Peters Hoskins.

She grew up in Comanche County, where she attended local schools and graduated from Geronimo High School in 1949.

She married Charles Hugh Wolf on July 24, 1948, in the Rectory of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

She was a homemaker and a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband of the home; three sons and a daughter-in-law: Robert Charles Wolf and Joseph Lee Wolf, both of Lawton; and James William and Marla Wolf, Tuttle; a daughter and son-in-law, Theresa J. and Don Hrncir, Durant; a sister and brother-in-law, Georgia and Damon Doye, Lawton; four grandchildren: Philip Hrncir, Maureen Wolf, Hanna Wolf, and S. Katie Fields and her husband, Jeremy; and two great-grandchildren: Jacob Fields and Anya Fields.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
