December 2, 2005 Ruby Luvenia [Felty] Williams Funeral for Ruby Luvenia [Felty] Williams, 96, of Duncan, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Passmore, pastor of First Baptist East Church, Lawton, officiating. Mrs. Williams died Friday, Dec. 2, 2005, in Duncan. Burial will be in Flower Mound Cemetery. Ruby was born May 18, 1909, in Indian Springs, Tenn., to John Henry and Emma D. Hamilton Felty. She attended Olustee Public Schools through the 10th grade. She married James E. Williams on Nov. 2, 1935, in Quanah, Texas. He died Nov. 8, 2001. Ruby worked as a cook for the school systems in Blair and Weatherford for many years. She was a member of First Baptist East Church. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Norma and Bert Robertson of Duncan; a son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Wanda Williams of Grand Prairie, Texas; a sister, Sue McCleary of Quanah; eight grandchildren: Jimmy Williams of Mustang, Doug Williams of Edmond, Jeffrey Williams of Dallas, Texas, Becki Gallagher of Kemp, Texas, Kathy Marten and Becky Toliver, both of Arlington, Texas, Kathy Bell of Mansfield, Texas, and Terry Robertson of Rush Springs; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters. |
