October 14, 2011 Benita Gail [Brister] Talton Benita Gail [Brister] Talton was born to Charles Edward and Veronica Earlene [Trimble] Brister on December 10, 1963, at Fort Sill OK, and departed this life in Walters OK on October 14, 2011, at the age of 47. Gail grew up in the Orangefield TX area until moving to Temple OK in her early teen years. Through the years she made her home at Temple and Duncan OK where she worked as a CNA at Country Club Nursing Home and also worked as a manager for Braums in Duncan. Because of ill health she moved to Walters two months ago to live with a son. Gail enjoyed cooking, camping, and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Brister and brother David Brister. Survivors include her mother Veronica Brister of Temple; sons Joshua Pennington and Shawna of Duncan, Jonathon Cobbs and Connie of Walters, and Jeffrey Cobbs and Reba of Duncan; daughter Jennifer Talton of Duncan; 4 brothers and sisters, Lynn Brister and Tammy of Orange TX, Tammy and Mike Woods of Walters, Walter and Tammy Brister of Temple, Monica and Fred Arzola of Stillwater OK; grandchildren Janae, Paris, and Bryce Pennington, Haleigh Nicole and Hayden James, Wesley Bailey, Matthew, and Gage Cobbs, Sequoia, Alissa, and Isaac Cobbs, and Malachi Lorne; and many other relatives and friends. |
