April 15, 2011 Lois Elizabeth [Green] Priefert WEATHERFORD - Lois Elizabeth Priefert, 94, of Weatherford died Tuesday evening, April 12, 2011, at her residence. Born Aug. 2, 1916, in Geronimo, Okla., she was a resident of Weatherford for several years. She was a retired bank teller and worked for 31 years for City National Bank in Plainview. Mrs. Priefert was a member of North Main Church of God. She was a Sunday school teacher, former youth leader, booster band leader, loved to laugh and have fun, loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, loved to work in the yard and loved roses. Her No. 1 interest was her church and God, and she spent hours upon hours reading the Bible. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Sanmann; daughter, Sona Joy Sanmann; and sisters and brothers, Mammie Lee Stair, Mitchell Green, Roger Green and Archie Green. Survivors include a son, Leonard Sanmann and his wife, Claudetta, of Weatherford; sisters and brothers, Estalene Lupin, Clifton Green, Lily Fryer, Ernest Green and Rosemary Cox; two grandchildren, Len Sanmann and his wife, Tammy, and Kevin Sanmann and his wife, Lisa; and four great-grandchildren, Katelen, Kayla, Kortnee and Karlie. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2011, in the North Main Church of God. Interment will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Flower Mound Cemetery in Lawton, Okla. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. |
