Ronald Wade Mires

Funeral for Ronald Wade Mires, 48, Lawton, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Locust Grove Baptist Church, east of Lawton, with Brother Kenn Lane, pastor, officiating.

Mr. Mires died Monday, March 7, 2011, at his home.

Burial will be in Flower Mound Cemetery under direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service.

He was born July 20, 1962, in Belton, Texas, to Odell and Ruby Person Mires.

He lived most of his life in the Belton and Killeen area.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Dennis Stokes, Belton, Texas; a granddaughter, Alyssum Stokes, of Belton; two brothers: Keith "Baby Brother" Mires and Donnie Mires, both of Killeen, Texas; an uncle and aunt, Ray and Ruth Mires, Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; cousins: Sue and Donald Hodge and family, of Lawton; and Penny and Larry Capps, Richmond, Texas; and many more relatives in Killeen, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Kim Mires; and a brother, Butch Mires.
