March 27, 2014 Robert B. Martin Funeral for Robert B. Martin, 70, Lawton will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Clipp officiating. Mr. Martin died Thursday, March 27, 2014 in Lawton. Burial with military honors will be at Flower Mound Cemetery. He was born December 17, 1943 in Richmond, Virginia to Albert B. and Elizabeth F. [Slayton] Martin. Mr. Martin served the U.S. Army and was discharged on July 26, 1979 after serving for fourteen years. He married Delores Elaine "Dee Dee" Beaver on August 19, 1971 in Albia, Iowa. She died May 29, 1989. He had worked at Pittsburg Paint & Glass and at Goodyear while in Lawton. He was a member of Wichita Baptist Church in Cache. Survivors include a son, Keven R. Martin, a daughter, Kimberly Norwood and five grandchildren, Chris, Crystal, April, Adam and Terry. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and a sister, Nancy Robinson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund at First Assembly of God, 2201 N.W. 82nd Street, Lawton, OK 73505. |
