August 15, 2013 Barbara Lou [Cook] Kronschnabel AURORA, Mo. Funeral Mass for Barbara Lou Kronschnabel, 73, Aurora, Mo., will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Barbara passed away at 11:32 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, west of Nixa, Mo., from injuries she sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Flower Mound Cemetery, Lawton, under direction of Crafton Cantrell Funeral Home. Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. She was born Feb. 5, 1940, in Lawton, the daughter of the late Harry A. and Roxy G. Sims Cook. On Aug. 14, 1993, she married Dan Kronschnabel in Las Vegas. Barbara was a homemaker and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She assisted at the Aurora Branch Library, was an avid reader and belonged to the "Book Club" and she loved to paint. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 20 years, Dan, of the home; three children: Roxanne Jepson, of Sacramento, Calif.; and Richard Kronschnabel, and Donna Gomier, both of Bakersfield, Calif.; six sisters: Dorothy Ford, of Marlow; Jessie Mae McCall, of Concord, Calif.; Wilma Cook, Lawton; Maxine Howell, Waurika; and Phyllis Moore and Frances Yackeschi, both of Lawton; grandson, Mathew Ehler and his wife, Ashley; great-grandchildren: Christian and Noah Ehler; and a total of eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Linda Ehler; and one sister, Ruby Fisher. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church in care of the funeral home. |
