© Lawton Constitution Lawton, Oklahoma August 19, 2013 Ernal Kathryn [Patton] Jenkins God brought a beautiful loving and caring lady with a heart of gold and a spirit of everlasting love and joy into this world on June 30, 1932, Ernal Kathryn Jenkins went to be with her lord and savior on August 19, 2013 in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Ms. Jenkins was preceded in death by her husband John Calvin Jenkins and her eldest son James Lee Thomas and her 3 sisters- Martha Patton, Mildred Lewis, Betty McSpadden and1 brother-Glenn Patton. Ms. Jenkins is survived by her daughter-in-law Flora Thomas from Iowa Park, Texas. Okie Thomas and his wife LaVonne of Oklahoma. Janace Brown of Bridge Creek. David Thomas of Erick. John Jenkins of Louisiana. Earl Jenkins of Louisiana. Kathryn Mallow and her husband Roger of Anadarko. Jonathan Jenkins and his wife Leslie of Newcastle. Calvin Jenkins and his wife Christy of Texas. 28 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. 2 sisters- Elizabeth Ballard of Texas, Neva Rogers of Texas and 1 brother-Carl Patton of Texas. Also a special thanks to Anadarko Hospital and their awesome nurses and staff. Rita Jackson and Rhonda Elrod with OU School of Medicine and Ross Health Care and Hospice. Her special and awesome friends Donald Harvell and Sandy Davis whom she loved just the same as her children. Funeral services will be Friday August 23 at 11:00am at Grace Christian Fellowship with Pastor Ted Mercer officiating under the direction of Smith Funeral Home with graveside burial at Flower Mound Cemetery in Lawton Oklahoma. |
