© Lawton Constitution Lawton, Oklahoma Sunday, April 29, 2001 Naomi [Coleman] Coombs Funeral for Naomi Coombs, 78, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Hayes, retired minister, officiating and Dr. Randy Robertson, pastor, Calvary Baptist Church, assisting. Mrs. Coombs died Saturday at her residence. Burial will be at Flower Mound Cemetery. She was born Sept. 21, 1922 in Boswell to Robert Custer and Nettie Lee Clover Coleman. She lived there until 1928. She then moved to the Frederick/Davidson area, where she lived until 1941. She married Thomas "Dink" Coombs on April 5, 1941, in Frederick. They later moved to Lawton and owned and operated Dink's Station and Grocery Store. She was a member of the Lawton Rangers and Southside Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Retta Faye Coombs Seabolt, Lawton; two grandchildren: Gregory Keith Seabolt and his wife, Theresa Ann, Lawton; and Karen Faye Ritter and her husband, Thomas Charles, Lawton; and two great-grandchildren: Matthew Keith Seabolt and Kimberly Diane Ritter. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Ronald Keith "Ronnie" Coombs. |
