Zelpha Mae [Hobbs] Walker
Mrs. Walker Dies Here Today
Mrs. Zelpha Mae Walker, 53, dies at her home at 904 S. Ninth at 2:30 a.m. today following a illness of several months.
A native of Texas, Mrs. Walker formerly lived at Fletcher, later moving to Lawton.
She is survived by five sons, Foster Walker, Swenson, Texas; James Walker of Oregon; Milford Walker of Washington State; Merle Walker of the U.S. Army in Germany, and Paul Walker of Pacolma, California and six daughters, Mrs. Pauline Goetz of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Mrs. Lenora Penner of Winton, California; Mrs. Thelma Wall of Eunice, New Mexico; Mrs. Lula Louen of Pacoma, California and Misses Jean Walker and Shirley Walker, both of the home address. Other survivors include her mother, Mrs. Nora Hobbs of the home address; two brothers, Leonard Hobbs of the home address and Winfrey Hobbs of Keyes, Oklahoma and a sister, Mrs. Lillian Gross of Fresno California and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Lawton Funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday with Rev. P. Boyd Smith, pastor of the Central Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Fletcher cemetery.
