© Becker Funeral Home Fletcher, Oklahoma Tuesday, March 01, 2011 CYRIL Memorial service for Esther Evans Roberts, 87, Cyril, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Fletcher, with the Rev. Rodney Campbell, pastor and the Rev. Leslie Roberts officiating. Let it be known, Esther Helen Evans Roberts went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, on Saturday, the 26th day of February in the year of Our Lord 2011. Arrangements are under direction of Becker Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fletcher. She was born Oct. 5, 1923, in Mullinville, Kan., to Budd and Nora Kimberly Evans. She married Thomas Emory Roberts on Oct. 9, 1944, in Greensburg, Kan. He preceded her in death in May 1996 after 51 years of marriage. She went to school in Haviland, Kan. and later went to business college in Hutchinson, Kan. She lived most of her married life in Ulysses, Kan., after traveling extensively throughout the Western United States and Canada She lived her later years in Cyril. She is survived by the only son, Thomas Budd Roberts, of the home; a brother, Arnold Evans; a sister in-law, Beatrice Evans; and numerous family and friends scattered throughout the country. She was proceeded in death by her parents; brothers: Ralph, Floyd, Homer, Roy and Merle; and one sister, Margaret Pattee. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church P.O.
