King, 78, died Sunday, December 28, 2008, in the local hospital at Ardmore. He was born April 26, 1039 at Fletcher, Oklahoma, the son of the late Druie and Viola Long King. He had worked in the oil fields as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed dancing, camping and was an antique tool collector. Robert is survived by his "sweet pea" Patricia Darlene Lemons of the home; his five children include Eddie and his wife, Carol, King, Patsy Phee, Paula Simms and her husband, Don, and George E. King; his three brothers, Gerald, Don and Delbert and half brothers, Floyd and Howard; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His parents, two daughters, four sisters and a brother preceded him in death. Following cremation his ashes will be buried at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 3, 2009 in the Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher, OK.
